FAQs

Is there a cut off time?

Yes, there will be a cut off time. The final cut-off is 1pm. To meet this there will be cut-off times at key checkpoints along the way. This gives you 3 hours to do 15km.

What if I can’t finish in the allotted time?

We will have a vehicle at each of the key checkpoints which will transport you to the finish area.

What sort footwear should I wear?

The terrain is varied. You could probably make it round in road shoes if the weather is dry, but we would recommend trail shoes if you have them.

Is there somewhere I can leave my bag?

Yes, we will be having a bag drop area at the start, and all bags will be transported to the finish area once the race is underway. Although we keep an eye on the bags during the race, they are left at your own risk. Please follow signage at registration.

Are headphones allowed?

No. Under UK athletic rules, competitors are not permitted to wear headphones during the race.

Are there any toilets on the course?

Toilets are available at the start/finish area.

Will there be feed stations around the course?

No, we don't plan to have feed stations. We recommend that you carry some snacks of your own and some water. However, if the weather is hot we will provide some water refill stations

What if I want to drop out of the race.

You need to notify a marshall and hand in your timing chip and race number, they will then contact race control and organise transport to the finish area for you.

Can I transfer or defer my entry

We will accept transfers upto 1 week before the event. Please contact us at chris@events360.co.uk if you would like to transfer your entry. We will need the name and date of birth of the person who you are transferring to. Unfortunately we cannot defer entries.
